The first edition of the International Human Resources Conference and Exhibition (IHRC) organised under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai was proven to be an imperative requirement amongst the HR professionals in the UAE and the Region.

The conference was inaugurated by His Excellency Humaid Al Qatami, Minister of Education, UAE and chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources. It was attended by distinguished invitees from the region and internationally, the inaugural ceremony was overwhelmingly graced by 620 invitees.

The fitting theme "Human Resources: The Sustainable Capital for the New Era" was deliberated with the contribution of over 37 World renowned speakers from the Public and Private sector of UAE and the Region.

Yet another unique phenomenon was the Conference attendance which was overwhelming considering the first edition. Over 400 delegates attended the conference that comprised of HR industry visionaries, global leaders, policy makers and HR professionals. The attendance encouraged productive discussions and the exchange of knowledge. The product showcase attracted many exhibitors from the public and private sector. The delegates were given an insight into cutting hedge human resource technologies and the best practices used in the HR industry. The delegates actively participated in the exhibition that was organised in parallel to the conference with a space of over 300 sq m.

Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) will be organising the International Human Resources Conference and Exhibition on an annual basis
